~Cassie's First Hair Cut and a Makeover for Aundrea~

I finally took Cassie to get her hair cut. Her hair has needed to be cut for a long time but I just could not bring myself to do it. It would mean that she is growing up and not a baby anymore. Also, her hair was and still is long enough to do pig tails, which she loves. She ask me every morning to put them in.
She looks so serious in these two pics but she loved her hair cut. She acted like a big girl and like she had been doing this for along time.

The hair stylist put pig tails in since she loves them.

Get ready for this one. Aundrea got her hair cut too. Her hair style was all her idea and I let her go for it. I love how brave she is to try a new style. I wish I could be so brave. I have often thought about getting my hair cut short, but to scared.

Yes, that short!! I was so surprised when she said she wanted it that way. Every bath time was not that fun to comb out the tangles. I was always telling her I was going to get her hair cut short and she did not like that idea.

She loves her hair cut!! And so do the rest of us. She just looks so cute!!!
This picture was taken at our friends house in Texas. I'm so sorry for not blogging lately but right after the last post we went to TX to visit friends for spring break. I just did not want to say that on my blog. My charger for my computer has been going bad and while we were in TX it died, therefore my computer died. So we had to order another and I had to be without a computer. OH, NO! What was I going to do? While it was kinda nice to be without it. I was doing so good about updating the blog before I left so I hated missing posting. So now I have a new charger and I'm up and running. I have lots of post to share with you all. Family and crafty stuff.
Thanks for hanging in there with me. I hope you will come back.
Have a great day, evening or weekend. We are going be get snow tomorrow (Saturday). Pray for my plants. Later.

~Signs of Spring and a Fairy House~

Spring is just around the corner and here is proof. Aundrea came running in the house yesterday and yelled for me to come outside that :"It is a miracle!" This is what she wanted to show me. I just love spring flowers. I don't know about you but I'm sooo ready for warmer weather.

I then spent a few moments outside with Aundrea while she worked on her fairy house. My Mom gave her a book about a little girl that builds fairy houses outside with things from nature. {i can't remember the name of the book right now}
She looked so cute as she worked so hard on her house.

A completed fairy house. Did you think you would ever see one of those? Isn't it just darling. I love it when she uses her imagination.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day. Check back soon. More post to come.

~Hubby's Birthday~

Last Friday we celebrated Kevin's birthday. Here is the card I made for him. I have so much trouble making male cards. I don't have any masculine stamp sets so this is what I came up with. I'm not sure how much I like it but I had fun making it and hubby liked it.
We invited some friends over and had root beer floats instead of cake and ice cream. Yummy!!!
Then we spent the evening playing cards.

Hubby enjoying his float!!
Isn't he just the cutest!! I just love this man.
He has brought so much adventure and happiness to my life. From camping, shooting guns, traveling, riding motorcycles to the birth of our girls. I never thought I would enjoy any of it but I do and I'm so thankful he has shared it all with me. I have been so blessed to have in my life. He is the best friend, handy man, Daddy, and Husband a girl could ever ask for.
Love ya!!

Thanks for all the blog lovin! Stay tuned. Several gals have asked about my stampin space. I will be posting pics soon. I'm so excited to show you.
Thanks for checking in!! Have a great day!!

~Quilt Card~

Hey all!! I wanted to share with you a card I made for Angie's birthday, my stampin' up demonstrator. I love this card!! I have quilted in the past but know I just don't have the time anymore to do such a big project. So when I saw this card I knew I had to make one. I can handle this kind of quilt. I found the card on Di's blog. It was so quick and easy. It took me longer to lay out the "quilt" than put it together. I really enjoyed making it. I can't wait to make more.
So sorry for not blogging lately. I have so much to share with you. Thanks for stopping by and hope you come back. Have a great day!!
